What an awesome time that we had Saturday night!  Some ladies from my church hosted the party and they really put on the dog!  We had about 200-250 people at the new Tom Johnson Camping Center Lodge.  They have a beautiful facility with a HUGE rock fire place.  It was really nice!

Some of my closest friends came and it really made the evening special.  Matt Stockman from WMIT gave a short devotion and I sang a few songs.

The food was excellent….especially the chocolate fountain!  YUM! 

I was a great time of fellowship and I am certainly honored to have been a part of it!

We got a call this morning about 3:30 AM that a station that Carol and I both worked for burned last night.

WCIS is owned by the family I used to sing with, The Whisnants.  Susan says that it is a total loss.  Nothing is saved.  Investigators are coming in this morning to search for the cause of the fire.

Please pray for this family.  They are special to us.  Also, pray for those people who work for WCIS…These families lives are impacted too!

At about 3:00 PM on New Year’s Day,  I questioned why we had put up a tree in every room of our house!  Good Grief! That was a lot of work….but it took less time to take it down than it did to put it up!  Oh well,  I am sure we will do it again next year!
