Just Ramblin Today…
A good friend of mine had to have a heart-eco test today.
He is a young guy but they say that he has the beginning stages of heart disease. It kinda froze me in my tracks…LIFE IS SHORT! Make the best of it while you can. God has given us this beautiful world that we live in to enjoy. So….GO ENJOY!
It is now about 11:45 PM on Monday as I write and my sweet baby girl is running a low grade fever and I am assuming that she is cutting teeth. She had a cry earlier that just broke my heart. A cry of pain. I had never heard that cry before. Dear Lord, please let her rest tonite and mommy too.
I just need to say in public how much I love the guys that I sing with. They are the coolest and this past weekend proved to me how much they love God and how much they love to sing. We had a great service at Grace BC in Marion, NC and there are people that are still rejoicing…..including myself.
Christmas Choir rehearsal is going great….We are up to about 55 members and the sound is incredible. We are doing the Mike Speck piece, “The Heart of Christmas”. Great Music, Great Message, Great Singers. I pray that God will keep His hand on us and keep us unified. We had a slight little bump in the road this week but God intervened! Thank you Jesus!
Well, that’s all for tonight….Thanks for coming to the site and looking around. Please pray for me as I start vocals on the CD on the 10th of October. I will also do vocals on the 16th, 23rd, and the 30th. I am fired up, too! Good night….
