The Whirlwind Weekend…
I felt like I was back on the road again this weekend!
Saturday, Carol, Ella and I drove to Greenville, SC to the Shriner’s Hospital to see our little buddy Lacey. She is doing good but she has to be in a back brace for 6 months. She is not loving that at all. Then we went to this great Mexican restaurant for dinner and then a special stop at Starbuck’s for dessert. If you have never had a Raspberry Mocha from there, you need to get one.
Then we rushed back to Marion to go to some friends house for a low country boil. Oh my! It was soooooo good! Thanks Brian and Lynda!
Sunday, we went to church in the AM. I had to sing at the Christian Clothing Center’s 10th anniversary celebration at 2. As soon as I sang, I had to rush out to get to Hudson, NC to sing at Poovey’s Chapel BC. What a great time we had. Some of the sweetest people attend this church. We had a great crowd and a great service. I got to sing another song off my CD, Comfort Me, and Thank You Lord, for using that song! Thanks Pastor Nicky for allowing us to be a part of your service!
This week is very busy…I go back to the studio to do some background vocals on Tuesday.
We are taking Ella trick or treating….She is going to be a chili pepper. (Well, actually we think she is…she has outgrown the outfit…we’ll see…we are going o improvise the costume).
Wednesday, We have a big member appreciation day at work…that is always a tiring day.
I will post later in the week and I will post some pictures of Ella in her costume!
